Happy February 29th!
It is supposed to start here in New England, around noon todayand last for about 20 hours. Yes, I am speaking of the storm data that we
have been hearing all morning.
Interestingly enough, it is 11:30 AM EST, as I write this update.
Still not a speck of anything coming down.
The weather reports have indicated that the temps will cause more rain and sleet
than accumulating snow, yet our local schools, and many other
facilities have started closing early. The call from the school came at 9:15 AM.
Go figure. I reckon it is better to be safe than sorry.
Time to go outside and make some, or rather, pretend to make some snowmen.
Okay, started snowing around, uhh, noon I think... half past 4 now and a few inches on the ground.
Enjoy YOUR weather, where ever you may be!
Thank You for stopping by.
Please, any comments or suggestions, feel free to email us here.
Happy Today!
Word of the Day
Our friend Marilyn, has the Killingly Historical Blog, and would be greatly interested in any feedback possible. It can be difficult to determine just how much interest is generated into any particular subject when you don't get any feedback. So, any one that might be interested in the local North Eastern Connecticut history, going back from 50 to several hundred years. I have also modified her comment section in the blog to permit anon comment posting, so you won't need to sign up for anything. Please check it out and make as many comments as happen across your mind... Um, politely though of course.
It appears that I have overlooked a bit of spelling here and there. Oops. Please let me know if you see something that needs to be addressed? After all, 'If you see something, maybe it IS something'! Thanks
