What's up?
New storm update as of noon yesterday, "Possibly up to 10" of snow".Connected plow and covered anything needed covering in yard. Update of storm as of 6 pm last night "Storm could change course, new totals ranging from 2" to 5"".
Bring shovels to back, front, and side doors, batten down all hatches, so to speak. Storm update from 11 pm evening news "Storm system is not pulling together as expected, new totals will be in the 1" to 3" range."
Upon awakening this morning, nary a spot or two of snow, otherwise, rain fell throughout the evening and it does appear, at this point, 9 am today, that I will be able to disconnect the plow without using it. Our friend Marilyn, has the Killingly Historical Blog, and would be greatly interested in any feedback possible. It can be difficult to determine just how much interest is generated into any particular subject when you don't get any feedback. So, any one that might be interested in the local North Eastern Connecticut history, going back from 50 to several hundred years. I have also modified her comment section in the blog to permit anon comment posting, so you won't need to sign up for anything. Please check it out and make as many comments as happen across your mind... Um, politely though of course.
